About Fresno RPC
Our Congregation has been in Fresno since 1920. For over 100 years our mission has been to “preserve, maintain and proclaim… the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the whole counsel of God; to gather into her fellowship those of every race and people who accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and promise obedience to Him; to build them up in their most holy faith, and train them to be faithful witnesses for Christ in all his offices; to maintain the ordinances of divine worship in their purity; witness against all evil; and in every way to seek the advancement of the Kingdom of God on earth.” Reformed Presbyterian Testimony 25.2
We seek to be a friendly congregation that loves to welcome all kinds of people into our worship services. The Church of Jesus is to be like a hospital for sinners as each of us seek to grow in our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through the Word and Spirit.
We emphasize the centrality of the Bible. This is primarily expressed in the preaching of the Word (Rom. 10:14-17), but also as the Word of Christ dwells in us (Col. 3:16) and we interact with one another, and study the Bible together. We desire to build one another up in the faith, to enjoy fellowship, and to share joys and sorrows. May you find this congregation to be a faithful community centered on the Lord Jesus Christ and ruled by love.
